Chase Lindley, SSC
Chase currently coaches out of Oklahoma City. Originally from Wichita Falls, TX, he has had the opportunity to train and coach at WFAC under Mark Rippetoe since the age of 14. During his time in Houston, Chase has worked with SSCs Josh and Shelley Wells. He has been training using the Starting Strength Method for over 10 years and is a former collegiate football athlete. Chase’s personal best lifts are: Squat 655lbs, Press 405lbs, Bench 445lbs, Deadlift 730lbs, Clean 180kg, Snatch 143kg. When Chase is not at the gym he is usually doing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, working outdoors or spending time with his wife, Phoebe and two dogs, Garm and Jade.
Phoebe Hightower, SSC
I became an SSC in 2022 after many years working as an inspector in the Oil & Gas industry. I spent a ton of time traveling for work and packing on the pounds while doing it and although I’ve never been a small woman I knew I had overdone it and needed to make a change to get healthy. I’ve always had some interest in lifting weights but never knew how to do it properly or make any progress. After becoming a member of a gym in Houston during Covid and seeing just how simple the coaches made my journey, I became interested in becoming a certified coach, myself. I followed that path to where I am now at FORTITUDE Strength and Conditioning in the OKC area where I finished my certification. I now coach a wide variety of clients daily and love seeing the impact training has on so many people’s quality of life.
